The Crosswords Group meets once a fortnight, on Wednesday mornings, at the leader's home.

We spend most of our time solving crosswords together. We distribute photocopies so that we each have our own copy of the puzzle. The standard is Telegraph / Times / Guardian with occasional forays into other types such as general knowledge, literature etc. Some examples of completed work are shown below.

Once or twice a year, we compile a crossword. Some members excel at this and love it.

We are always happy to help new members settle in and we have some sheets of hints and tips. However, this is not a group for beginners.
